.   A Stock Photo:  Brian Hardy The sidings just north of Wembley Park station (on the right of the photograph) were provided by the Metropolitan Railway from the early-1920s and soon became covered accommodation.  However, as related in previous issues of Underground News, they have recently become open-air sidings again.  An A stock train on the southbound ‘fast’ Metropolitan Line passes the new sidings on 30 March 2006 with A60 DM 5044 leading.  Back to Thumbnails
